There’s nothing I love more than a frilly dress that’s as comfortable as it is fashionable, especially during the Summer heat. We got to visit my parents in Florida over the memorial holiday weekend and it was already up to the 90’s. Summer is definitely on its way to the Carolinas too. So in the spirit of summer strolls, barbecues, and holidays I thought I would share two different comfortable, beautiful dresses under $50 to add to your wardrobe. Come along…
The first dress is very frilly and feminine, good for brunch after church or your Saturday stroll. I’m calling it grand millennial pink. It’s so pretty, feminine and flowy because of the dainty buttons, bow tie waist and ruffled hem. I paired it with my favorite pearl straw bag by Pamela Munson, currently on sale, and my go to under $100 wedges of Summer that I have in two colors now. Yes, they’re that good!

This second dress, different from the first with it’s bright colored pattern and silhouette is still ever feminine, comfortable and detailed. It would seriously be perfect for the fourth or any backyard barbecue and is literally $35!
I love the fit and flare style and the adjustable bow straps. The buttons on this one are functional too and it fits true to size. For bustier chested friends, I love it because the buttons don’t gap at all up top even in a small size. I chose to pair it with my favorite flats, these eco friendly flame red rothy’s, a gingham red headband and a straw bag. The headband really makes it pop and is from jcrew.
