So I’m starting to notice I have a pattern with the places I love to travel the most within the US. They all include water near by, intricate homes, beautiful blooms, fabulous shopping, amazing food, and history. Places like Charleston SC, Newport RI, and Palm Beach FL come to mind. I love how charming all of these cities are. There’s beauty everywhere you look! I could get lost just strolling the streets and looking at all of the beautiful homes along the water in all of these places. Today we’re talking all things Palm Beach though and it reminds me of the pretty of…
Blowing Rock NC
Blowing Rock is such a charming little historic town straight out of an Autumn story book or Hallmark movie (if they made them for Fall instead of Christmas!). Read more about it’s history here. Fun fact, I actually grew up visiting this town each year with my family for a family getaway to the mountains! Being here definitely brings back great memories, and I’ve loved now that I live here I am only a 3 hour car ride to this place, getting to visit more often and creating new memories with our friends…
Summer in Asheville
Ok, let’s be honest. No matter what season you visit Asheville during, it’s going to be beautiful and have something different to offer throughout the year. With Covid still being present, we’ve really been taking advantage of more weekend time to take road trips safely in our car with our fur baby Archie. It’s been really nice to get the chance to explore more of the state, that we now call home. North Carolina has so many hidden gems in general, but what I especially love is you’re only a couple hours to the beach, or a few hours to the mountains- truly giving you the best of both worlds. Not to mention that while they get the season change, one season never seems to outstay it’s welcome. Come with me today, as we explore what to do, see, and where to stay on your Summer trip to Asheville, North Carolina. I’m so glad…

Charleston - A Place for You & Your Pup
What could be more magical than Charleston in the Spring Time? This last weekend I had the opportunity to visit my favorite US city, Charleston and it was just in time to catch everything that started blooming. It really was so picturesque and fragrant throughout the town. The Azaleas were especially pretty at the moment. A little tip, with all of the Spring Blooms I’d definitely recommend…

Grand Millennial's Fall Travel Guide to Vermont
From the moment we walked into this charming inn we felt like family. Nestled away in the town of Bennington Vermont, is the pretty and quaint bed and breakfast, Four Chimneys Inn (see the 4 chimneys!). From its soft floral and damask wallpapers, to the chandelier above the grand staircase, or the beautiful bay windows, and intricately trimmed fireplaces in the rooms, this place is a true Grand Millennial’s…
Six Retro and Colorful Las Vegas Photo Spots
I had so much fun hopping around old Vegas with Cassie of @cassiexarthur.photography a few weeks ago! Although Vegas is hot this time of year, and I thought I was going to literally faint at one point, it’s still worth the trip. Running around with Cassie made the heat completely bearable because she is such a joy to work with! MY ADVICE though: Just go when it’s cooler temps if you have that luxury or better yet, hang at one of the iconic Vegas pools all day. I was lucky enough through…
Christmas time in Quebec City
Wow! The moment you step out of the car in Quebec around the holidays, you literally feel like you walked straight into a Hallmark Christmas Movie Scene. I mean it really is that incredible, truly. The streets of Old Quebec are decked to the nine’s, there’s a beautiful display of lights on the buildings, the roof peaks and evergreen trees are frosted in snow capped glimmer, and there are carolers sporadically showing up on streets to heighten your Holiday spirit. Just when you think it can’t get any better, Santa shows up, you discover a charming and cozy restaurant with incredible food and then take a snow princess romantic adventure on an outdoor…
SLS BahaMar Travel Guide
Hey my Frapp Friends!! As most of you know, my husband Mark was diagnosed with Cancer (Hodgkin Lymphoma) at the beginning of the year. It’s been a super scary, stressful, and unexpectedly tough year so far.
That all being said, when Mark successfully beat cancer in August, we knew it was time to live in the moment and take an unforgettable vacation with the friends that have been there for us the most throughout this rough year…

Whisk Away In Style To Newport RI
He said let's get out of this town...In style with #Delsey Luggage
We seriously had the best time in Newport! We didn't want to come home. The weather was such a nice change from Florida. I highly recommend going in late August or early September, (We went Labor Day weekend) although I am sure it is quite a sight to see in Autumn with the leaves all changing. Our temps were in the high 60's with sunshine, and apparently we went the last weekend before things start slowing down because of school starting back up and weather drastically cooling down (therefore certain restaurant patios close down).
Can I just first say how much we loved traveling with our Delsey Luggage?!
1. Their luxe interiors, with specially designed pockets and compartments make packing so organized and easy. I love it because even after TSA handles my luggage, everything is still neat and tidy in place when I arrive--making it ultimately easy to find what I am looking for to dress in.
2. The hard shell also helps keep my breakables safe and clothes dry. Mark even traveled home with some valuable red wine in his luggage this trip and everything survived (thank God! Red wine in luggage is quite the risk).
3. I didn't even mention yet, the stylish, Parisian Chic exterior of my White Chatelet hard shell spinner, and the Masculine, durable, light-weight design of my husband's Black Bastille Lite expandable spinner. The nice thing about the exterior design besides the style, is there is a TSA approved lock built into the exterior of both, and mine comes with a brake lock (similar to that of one on a stroller or cart), so while traveling in busy airport shuttles or trains, the luggage will not roll away from me.
4. Delsey now makes, practical and stylish covers to protect the exterior when you travel (I know many of you were wondering how I keep mine so clean)! It's super easy to use. Currently, they are showing out of stock, so I've linked a similar one I have here for you. :)
I've partnered with DELSEY to extend to you 25% off your purchase of $50 or more, so you can whisk away to your dream vacay spot in style and practicality. Just use code WHOISVICTORIATAYLOR25 while shopping for your Delsey Luggage Here.
**Where to stay in Newport RI**
I highly recommend staying at the Chanler, for a truly unique and romantic experience. The rooms are all of periodic design, Including Renaissance (Where we stayed), Louis XVI room which is of french neoclassical design, Old World English Tudor style room, Georgian Estate room styled of the late 18th century, even a Gothic room, and more.
I chose our room (Renaissance) because it looked more Victorian to me than anything and I am a sucker for chandeliers, private balconies with ocean views, and fireplaces. This room was equipped with all, including three chandeliers, an old world Hollywood Glamour style vanity for getting ready, and an amazing jet tub. I have to say the neoclassical french designed Louis XVI room would have been pretty incredible though too. Needless to say we had a truly wonderful time here being whisked away into another time period. I'm not going to lie, I felt like a Queen or one of the Vanderbilts enjoying the amenities of this fabulous hotel property and accommodations for the weekend. And if you know your history, thats not a bad place to feel like you're in! Pretty much lived in a daydream all weekend!
**Top 3 things to do in Newport RI**
1. The MANSIONS!! OMG, these homes are absolutely incredible. The words I'm using don't even do them justice. It's just indescribable to see how these prominent families lived back in the day. We toured, in this order, The Marble house (Made of all stunning marble), Rosecliff (my personal fave-parts of The Great Gatsby were filmed here!!), and The Breakers (One of the many extravagant homes of the Vanderbilt Family). There are many others, however these are the top three and honestly after you tour three of them (opt for the self guided tour with headphones), it all starts to become a blur, because each is of similar periodic design, and so over-the-top spectacular. I was overly ambitious (per usual), and bought a pass to tour 5--we made it to 3. I recommend buying your tickets ahead of time by clicking here, as the lines (especially outside of the Breakers), can get quite long, and if you have tickets already, you by-pass that line.
2. The Cliff Walk!! This was my husbands favorite, and I can't lie, was a pretty amazing experience. If you visit around the time of year we did (early September), the weather is in the 60's and gorgeous, making this walk so serene and comfortable. Parts of it are paved and parts are treacherous rocks and dirt paths. For this reason, I recommend being in good health, and wearing the proper shoes. It stretches 3 and a half miles long and you will get to see some pretty amazing ocean views and the most STUNNING homes. There is a bathroom/rest stop a long the way which is nice. We chose to stop every now and then to take in the sights along the rocky roads that were more secluded and naturally beautiful.
3. Private Charter The Temma with Antique Yacht!! This was such a wonderful experience and a great way to take in the gorgeous views and sights that Newport has to offer. It's a whole other perspective getting to see everything from the water, as well as the beautiful sail boats all around us. Antique Yacht is affordable, costing us just under $300 for this almost 2 hour trip!! It's run by husband and wife Greg and Alana, who couldn't be nicer. They are so down to earth and flexible to cater to what you are looking for in a charter. You can stream music from your smartphone straight to the Temma, or sit back and relax to one of their playlists while they delight you with beautiful views and champagne! We chose to purchase our champagne (and Rosé) prior and brought it on board, however we did add the oyster plate and cheese plate to our adventure. It was truly relaxing and unforgettable. If you missed my instagram stories on this one, I pretty much thought I was living life like a movie that day! :) Visit their site here to book an unforgettable customized experience.

Grandy Hyatt Baha Mar Resort Review
The Baha Mar Resort #BahamasBound
Ok, so the best way I can describe this fabulous resort is with a lot of adjectives. It's a lot of amazingness all combined into one resort! It's Las Vegas, Meets Key West, Retro, Chic, Modern Glam, with a Slight Disney's Boardwalk vibe.
It is pretty much awesome! The rooms kind of reminded me a little of a nautical Kessler Collection hotel, with Glamorous detailed white head boards and Navy walls with gold/brass accents. The Bathrooms had all of your modern amenities, with fabulous "getting ready" lighting and gorgeous floor to ceiling Carrara Marble. The views from our balcony were of the gorgeous property and crystal blue ocean!
There are several pools located throughout the property on different levels (including roof top pools at the adjoined SLS), rain waterfall pool cabanas (Incredible), a huge, modern casino decked out with unique crystal chandeliers, and soon to be about 20 restaurants on property. Even the coffee shop was adorable and reminded me of a french café. You have to also check out the Taco food truck if you go! It's like a bright pink pineapple or something and is adorable. Plus the food is really good and the margaritas won't hurt either!
We mainly enjoyed the resort's secluded beach area, and pool with a full grato fish aquarium inside, while sipping tasty frozen Piña Coladas (Ask for an extra shot on top...you'll thank me later!).
The only downfall when we visited was that not all of the restaurants were open yet and not all of the rooms were finished. For that reason I believe they are still expanding their staff and figuring things out. The customer service at the restaurants and bars could have definitely been better and faster. I'm sure once they have their grand opening, everything will be in tip top shape! It was a nice getaway and my husband and I plan to go back frequently since its such a short flight from Florida!
PS-They are also adding real Flamingos to parts of the resort! How cute is that?!

Out of Office in #BeccaSwim
I loooove a classic staple piece, especially when traveling. This slimming black swimsuit by Rebecca Virtue, which I found at Everything but water, was one of my staple pieces this trip. It's figure flattering and a one piece with a twist. The back is totally trending with the clean line cut outs. Modern and classic all in one piece is a win win for me!
