1. Shop & Stroll the iconic Palm Beach Streets and Boutiques

Hello Worth Ave and Royal Poinciana Plaza. Not only are the items in the stores absolutely beautiful, but the storefronts are all uniquely crafted, creating the perfect eye candy for even the window shopper. My absolute favorites were Loveshack Fancy at the Royal Poinciana Plaza and Tory Burch on Worth Avenue. I can’t get enough of all the ethereal flowers dripping from the Loveshack fancy storefront and the scalloped awnings at Tory Burch are simply darling! Grand Millennial dreams do come true here. Here are some photos of Tory Burch and Loveshack Fancy in Palm Beach!

Also at the Royal Poinciana Plaza was a gorgeous courtyard to enjoy some lunch, a cute quick eats tex mex restaurant with the prettiest blue floor tiles (Coyo Taco), and the most beautiful floral shop full of Spring Blooms (renny and reed). Scoop some beautiful hydrangeas up to carry in your designer straw tote while you’re living the true Palm Beach life, or hire them to design for your next special event.

On worth avenue, there’s plenty of shops and honestly I could just spend the day walking these streets, turning the corners to find flowers encapsulating and enchanting beautiful buildings. Every nook and corner is just simply charming, with hidden fountains and gardens like you’ll see in the pictures below. These photos were taken out front of Mystic Jewelers on Worth Avenue by their pretty pink awnings, every feminine lady’s dream shop and around the hidden corners off the avenue!

2. Scope out the Gorgeous Homes and Historic Architecture of Palm Beach

I also think I could do this for days. Just 2-5 minutes away from Worth Avenue, take a drive down Cocoanut row and park your car. All you have to do is walk around here and every side street you turn down will have the most charming Key West, meets Charleston, right off the beach, styled homes. Boasting with window boxes full of flowers, colorful shutters with all the moldings and trimmings as many of these homes have been here for years upon years, you surely won’t be disappointed with the detailed architecture if this is your thing. I personally love doing this on vacation.

Insider tip: There are many pink homes, resorts and buildings throughout Palm Beach as it was and is an iconic color for them. I’m not complaining at that! Take a look at a couple I found.

Also be sure to drive down Ocean blvd. for even more beautiful homes, wait I mean mansions, complete with their own gates and beach houses. The side streets of Ocean blvd. are full of enchanted mansions that completely throws me into a daydream of what it would be like to design and decorate such a gorgeous house. You’ll be paralleled with picturesque views on the left and right, with the crystal blue skies and ocean on one side, and the historic homes on the other. Everything is so beautifully manicured. No filters needed here…

To truly blend with the Palm beach locals, you have to have the right outfit, like this bright preppy palm tunic from Cabana Life or the Navy Tassel cover up. And for the true experience you must rent and ride a beach cruiser around or get fancy with a vintage rolls royce or bentley convertible. That’s how they do it here y’all!

Be sure to go in January or February though even when its pricey that time of year, because once it hits 90 degrees and humidity levels rise again for the year, I’m sorry but no ocean view and 8,000+ sq. foot home is going to make up for the amount of hairspray you’re going to need and boob sweat you’re going to experience. Yes I just went there. It’s real y’all I promise you! The only exception to this rule is if you’re lucky enough to lounge in the pool and cabanas at The Breakers all day sipping skinny coconut drinks. Soooo good! But at $20+ a drink, I’m pretty sure this is not most of our daily realities.

In summary, Palm beach is a very charming place that I feel like is so different than any other place in Florida with its amount of beauty and wealth, and it’s different in the best of ways. Be sure to book your trip in the January-February time frame to escape the cold weather elsewhere, but miss the hot humid Summers of Florida. Enjoy strolling the streets admiring the homes, beach and shops. But most important be sure to dress the part in the perfect Palm Beach attire with these UPF 50 sun protective Cabana Life dresses and cover ups. I loved wearing this blue and white striped one on my day exploring ocean blvd and the preppy palm tunic while shopping worth ave. I hope you have a beautiful time on your visit and please feel free to reach out to me about anything!
