What could be more magical than Charleston in the Spring Time? This last weekend I had the opportunity to visit my favorite US city, Charleston and it was just in time to catch everything that started blooming. It really was so picturesque and fragrant throughout the town. The Azaleas were especially pretty at the moment. A little tip, with all of the Spring Blooms I’d definitely recommend bringing a Claritin or two a long with you if you do ever visit around Spring time.
With all of the sadness & stress, surrounding the Corona virus, I’m currently left feeling overwhelmed, yet grateful for the opportunity to have been here and to have met new friends like Sarah Weisbrod of Hello Darling (A Southern Preppy Life & Style blog) and her dog Duke! Now I’m officially playing my part and quarantining myself to the house to lessen the danger of this scary virus. I hope you are able to do the same, and really slow down to enjoy this time with your loved ones and hopefully help stop this virus from spreading.
Since Charleston is so beautiful any time of year, but in the Spring especially, and with how depressing our reality can feel at the moment, I felt this would be the perfect time to share some joyful photos from our trip and meet up with Sarah and Duke. These photos will hopefully brighten your day with a little Springy cheer! After all, what’s cuter than puppies & happier than bright colors and flowers?!
I’m also going to share some pretty streets for strolling and snapping photos, as well as the dog friendly places to stay and eat in the city. It’s such a great town to bring your family and your furry friend once the virus has been taken care of and it’s safe for us to all return to normal. Sarah and I wore dresses from Red Dress Boutique, because they have the prettiest floral dresses at an affordable price point, perfect for exploring pretty towns like Charleston. Well, for now, happy day dreaming and future vacation planning. Enjoy the pics!
