Hello blush pink heaven! Located in beautiful Wilmington NC sits the quaint and charming Midtown Tudor, a restored English Tudor home recently brought back to life in blushing shades of pink. Just 5 minutes from historic downtown Wilmington, 15 minutes to popular Wrightsville Beach and 25 minutes from the famed and colorful Carolina Beach Boardwalk, Midtown Tudor is nestled into the perfect little location. Owner Courtney Lee of Up staged Wilmington (A design and home staging business) decided to take this pretty little fixer on with her husband to turn it into an accommodating and relaxing Air bnb, with Instagram worthy photo spots in every nook and corner, literally! Come with me today for a tour of all the spaces in this gorgeous place, as well as some must see places, activities and dining recommendations while on your trip to Wilmington NC.

We will start with the pretty pink french doors leading us to every girl’s dream kitchen. Pinch me, it’s too perfect!

The pink french doors lead you into an open space full of natural lighting! The kitchen space starts with an adorable breakfast nook that has me feeling like I’m at the beach already. A great place to drink coffee and start the day off on the right foot don’t you think? Next to that is the cutest little pink kitchen complete with vintage farm house sink and the prettiest pink dinnerware! If only Mark would let me do this at our house! A girl can dream right? But really, I mean this makes even doing the dishes fun!

I had to take advantage of the space to arrange some beautiful flowers for the table while we were there. Whoever thought I would want to maximize more of my time in the kitchen? I guess I can happily thank Midtown Tudor for that!

I could just spend days here taking cute pictures of everything! Seriously, from the lighting to the rugs, everything was so pretty and unique. Courtney did such a good job really maximizing space and keeping things cute but not overplayed! The floors are all white by the way to amplify even better lighting for all those insta worthy shots you’re going to get here.

Speaking of, how cute is this little swing? And I am literally dying over the living room space! The green and pink fabrics, cozy couch, and details of the original fire place are all just stunning together! Both are great places to relax while sipping your morning coffee, or enjoying an afternoon tea! See more of those spaces on my story highlights “pink air bnb”.

On to my FAVORITE bedroom in this restored Tudor home, complete with Laura Ashley bedding and all the delicate details you’ll especially love if you classify as a “Grand Millennial”. The master bedroom includes a plush king bed, great if you come with your significant other instead of the girls! This room has all the feels and I am loving every square inch of it. Custom window treatments are to be installed throughout the home shortly and I can only imagine how much prettier it’s going to get. I just may have to go back!

Thought my pink Delsey luggage was right at home in this bedroom! Oh and I’ll take my breakfast in here today please! Never leaving…

And for a room reveal I haven’t shared fully with y’all yet…The secondary downstairs bedroom. The queen bed is just as dreamy with fun pops of pinks, blues and greens, and the cutest, vintage-styled getting ready nook (shown on my Instagram stories with more behind the scenes videos, here - highlight titled “pink air bnb”!).

Did I mention this place has pink doors? Lots of them. In fact every door is blush pink here. And we already saw that dreamy pink staircase, picture perfect for IG selfies. Let’s show you what’s up the stairs and past those pretty pink doors next.

Complete with two additional queen guest bedrooms, dining nook and hang out spot is the upstairs of midtown Tudor. It also has another mini kitchen in the pass through connecting it to the additional beautiful bedroom (shown on my Instagram stories in highlight “pink air bnb”). Both bedrooms have the most unique and beautiful floating beds like this! I could kick my shoes off and just relax up here all afternoon! What about you?

Between the cute corners, pink everything, luxurious beds, floor length mirrors, and dream girls kitchen, I wouldn’t blame you if you came here and never wanted to leave, but I encourage you to do so because the ever growing town of Wilmington has so much to offer! Sharing what to do while in Wilmington next…

Sharing now some of the things we did and the things we want to do when we come back, plus dining recommendations!

Must Do:

  1. Historic streets of downtown Wilmington along the water

Follow Market street down to front street and all the side streets around. This pink one is on the corner of Front and Ann st. You won’t want to miss the amazing views, restaurants, shops and historic southern homes of Wilmington. It reminds me of a mini Charleston and Savannah!

2. Go to the Colorful Carolina Beach Boardwalk

Soak up some sunshine and enjoy the blue saltwater beach at Carolina Beach for a nice afternoon. The beach does get busy so you’ll want to try to go in the morning to get a nice spot and for more privacy. While there, you HAVE to walk the famous boardwalk full of pastel colors and all the retro feels. Britt’s donuts is an absolute must as it has been around since 1936 and people come from all over for them (Courtney told me!). They serve them fresh and hot, and they’re only $1 a piece, cash only! Worth it!! The pier is also a nice place to just sit and relax on one of the swinging benches, while soaking up the salty air, Carolina blue skies and Ocean views! Be sure to snap an Insta pic in front of one of the pretty murals or colorful buildings before you go too!

Eating Recommendations:

Pizza: Elizabeth’s Napoli style pizza- Their greek salad dressing is very good! We picked ours up and ate at the air bnb for a low key Friday.

Seafood & Panamanian style cuisine: Ceviche’s- Their tapas are so good! I also had the Pollo & Arroz and it was delicious!

Brunch: The basic’s- Their blueberry oatmeal pancakes were seriously so tasty and unique! Mark had their special that day; Brisket Benedict. He LOVED it!

Lunch: Spoonfed Kitchen and Bake shop- Their Chicken Banh Mi sandwich was the perfect blend of Asian style sweet and spice! Cute little place too!

Next Time:

Airlie gardens is on our list for next time and Floriana Italian restaurant overlooking the water downtown is too! Also on the list, take a “One Tree Hill” Tour. This was my favorite show in high school, I even had my dad into watching it with me and I used to watch soap net re-runs of it in college all the time! One tree hill was actually filmed in Wilmington, so it would be super fun an nostalgic to visit some of the film sites, like Karen’s cafe etc. Until next time y’all…
